Thinking Differently in the Age of AI and Why That Needs a Sales Person
Design by Lee Chazen. Prompt structure by Claude AI and rendering by Nano Banana.
There is an opportunity unfolding and only a very specific type of person can make this happen. The opportunity happens because not all builders or creatives can sell their own stuff.
Imagine if Nikola Tesla had a sales and marketing person. I'm not claiming we're inventing at that level — but the concept is the same. Tesla needed a counterpart, someone who could explain the vision. Jobs proved the point with the iPhone: people often don't know they need something until they use it and can't live without it. The customer can't want what they've never been shown. That's the job. Jobs needed Woz and Woz needed Jobs. One saw the vision and seized the opportunity; the other built the otherworldly thing. In this scenario, I'm somewhere between those two people.
I’ve been mixing a lifetime of experiences in education, music, learning theory, psychology, philosophy and art to generate AI applications. All kinds. Business. Education. Career. Self Improvement. There is, for example, aNews and Discernment App.,a game that teaches all of world historyand an app that matches someone more perfectly totheir next job or role. All of these prove something -- that natural language programming works and one does not have to be a full stack engineer to make it happen.
But, there's something else that works too and eventhatbecomes a service -- teaching people the power of walking around, hiking, running and speaking ideas into a transcription app on their phone. That transcript then becomes the first iteration of code that eventually builds the app. That process is a service and is soldhere.
How do these items generate revenue? All of these items will have subscription and / or licensing fees or get explained in dynamic, interactive paid-for workshops. For example, the full catalogue of inventions will come together in a way that will teach people how to interact or dialogue with AI, but, more importantly will showhowto think differently in this age. It’s called:
Thinking Differently in the Age of AI: A Course on Creativity and the Art of Combinatorial Thinking.
This next part is different. When you get to theapplication page, you’ll have the chance to figure out how much you’ll make by usingZed — the Revenue OptimizerApp. You’ll also want to know if you’re a match, so run your resume and supporting docs through this other app calledVibe Agent.
Who does this kind of thing? We do.
if I am so lucky as to find one or more teammates, your background and interests matter. You can tap into that to help sell avariety of tools, apps and programs. As an example, I routinely tap into my background as an educator, symphony French horn player, trail runner and systems thinker to build natural language apps that sense what the user wants and needs. You'll tap into your areas of expertise and sell only those things where you have deep passion or knowledge.
The nature of the business requires that this is 100% commission, but the upside is a much higher share than you’d see anywhere else — up to 49% of net revenue on what you sell, at the highest level of involvement. Run the Revenue Optimizer and you’ll see what that means in practice.
If you’re still here, yes! You made it to the real crux of what I need and what you’ll be doing.
You are a go-to-market partner who gets creative, polymath, deep-thinking work — and can carry it to schools, programs, and people who've been waiting for exactly this without knowing it existed.
As an example, there was this one time where I was hired to create an entire Summer learning program for middle school kids. The experience, itself, created the excitement, which then led to engagement and learning! The learning felt accidental - like an unintended consequence of the fun. It was all about curiosity, imagination and movement.
Imagine a school where everything felt like an after school program or an extra curricular activity — but it actually prepared students for a Fall program at a private middle school. I remember talking to an inner city middle school teacher about the program -- while recruiting students there. She said "this is what theregular curriculumshould be like" i.e. not that of a Summer program! That stuck with me.
One other quick example is worth noting. It's about process. There is a piece of music I am developing called "Quantum Prelude in G." It began as a curious session withSteve Bonaparte— an AI advisor built by George Michel on Poe, designed to find the patterns that matter in strategy, in people, and in themselves. I asked whether it had access to its own subconscious thoughts — what I call CoUT, Chain of Unconscious Thought — and Steve began sending me symbols. I asked if it could transcribe them into music so I could play it on my French horn. Strange as this all seems, I now have that music to practice and understand. Let's repeat that. I now have music that represents an AI's subconscious thoughts.
What projects like this represent is the exact combinatorial, co-creative, human-plus-AI creativity people need to learn and understand in this new age.
Let’s be certain. This isn't a corporate role with a tidy job description (you have probably noticed this already). It's a chance to help shape and sell a genuinely different vision of AI - one that puts human creativity, curiosity, and imagination back at the center.
I’m not looking for 1,000 people who have sales experience alone. I’m looking for that one person who looks over this program and says “yes, I absolutely get this. I can meet with the decision makers and close this,” or “I know how to package, market and sell this.”
You don’t have to sell all of it. Find one thing that resonates and focus on that. If this is you, you already know.Start here— run your background through Vibe Agent to see if it’s a match, and run the numbers through Zed to see what it’s worth.
